Bird (Kingfisher)
The organism I chose is a bird and for all I know it eats worms, food scraps, etc. This organism also can make use of the sugars provided by the plants in their own cellular energy. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and plantations.Birds are a group of endothermic vertebrates, characterized by feathers, toothless beaked jaws, the laying of hard-shelled eggs, a high metabolic rate, a four-chambered heart, and a lightweight but strong skeleton.

The type of bird I chose is a family of Insecticidal. It is endemic to the Mariana Islands.  It was formerly considered a subspecies of the collared kingfisher.
